Here's my group of kids outside the museum. We're just waiting til they let us go inside.
Here is Jacob by one of the dinosaurs. I have NO idea what this face that he's making is for, HA!
Here they all are by the dinosaur display.
This was a dinosaur fossil and of course my child is the one who has to try and climb on it. He climbs on everything! :)
Here is Jacob with his buddy Noah. They were the only two boys in the group.
The kids were watching the dinosaur display become "flooded". The waterfall started rolling in and thunder and lightening was all around.
I'm not sure what this animal is, but this is at the entrance of the "poop" display. Yes, you read that right. They have a room that talks about different animal poop and what to watch out for. Sick! Who needs to know that? Not my favorite display that's for sure, but the kids sure thought it was funny, hahaha.
Here he is checking out the LIVE alligator that was in the same area as all the poop talk. The alligators name is Elvis, haha.
The jail! This was my chance to lock them in there and run away, haha, totally kidding of course! :)
Panning for gold. He found a few pieces. Too bad it's not real, we could really use real gold right now. ;)
Part of the new Mars exhibit.
More info about Mars.
This is a scale and it reflects how much you would weigh on Mars. Jacob would only weigh 25 pounds on Mars! Now that is the kind of scale I need. One that takes pounds OFF of you! Awesome! :)
Riding the bus on the way to the park for lunch.
Climbing a tree at the park. Again, he's always the climber of the group, haha.
Riding the bus back home. He was starting to get bored! He sat on the floor and was pouting cause he was just so ready to be done! Me too! I was really ready for the day to be over at this point, haha!
We really did have a great time! :)
